The official X (formerly Twitter) account for the Uta no Prince-sama anime franchise announced that Uta no Prince-sama The Movie: TABOO NIGHT XXXX has surpassed 1 million ticket sales in just 77 days since its May 9 premiere. To celebrate the milestone, the team shared a special illustration by character designer Maki Fujioka, thanking fans for their continued support.

As the third concert film in the franchise, TABOO NIGHT XXXX features the senior idol group QUARTET NIGHT and debuted in 135 theaters across Japan. Since its release, it has remained a top 10 box office title for nine weekends, ranking #8 even in its 11th weekend (July 18–20).

To date, the film has earned over 1.69 billion yen (approx. 11.5 million USD) with 1,001,193 admissions, making it the sixth highest-grossing Japanese anime film of 2025.
